The DCS 61-S automatically detects the movements of mobile machinery and integrates the servo-control of tower cranes.
The systems placed on the tower and mobile cranes communicate their information via the radio network and permanently know the position of each of the mobile machines thanks to geolocation antennas.
When the mobile cranes move and reposition themselves in a different area to work, the tower crane devices automatically know their positions and thus the system creates an interference zone for the machines concerned.
The DCS 61-S calculates in real time and in 3D the distances between each element of the cranes as well as the speeds of movement in order to intervene on the control mechanisms of the machine to ensure a slowing down then a complete immobilization of the tower crane (Luffing jib or trolley) at a pre-set distance from the mobile machine.
For the mobile crane, the device will emit an increasingly loud sound signal as it approaches the prohibited or interference zone.
Of course, the DCS 61-S system for the mobile crane retains its two other essential functions for maintaining productivity and site safety.
- Zoning
The system ensures you to quickly create no-fly zones in 3 dimensions directly on the screen by associating geometric shapes with perimeters and static obstacles.
- The data logger
The DCS 61-S continuously records and saves data related to events, movements and all crane parameters in order to view them directly on the system screen in the cabin and/or download them to a USB stick.
The DCS 61-S device is an evolving product, which was designed in such a way as to integrate new functionalities as they arise.
For this new innovation in the anti-collision sector, AMCS technologies won the Technical Innovation of the Year Award from the 2020 Tower Crane Trophies.
The IoT Lifting
Accurately and remotely monitoring the productivity of your site, knowing the activity of your cranes every day, managing your fleet of AMCS technologies products as well as carrying out remote diagnostics are the goals of the IoT Lifting, made up of a web platform and a mobile app.
These tools provide access to concrete and technical data in real time concerning anti-collision systems and the use of the crane, in order to meet a real need on the part of customers.
The IoT lifting centralizes all the information transmitted by the DCS 61-S anti-collision systems relating to each crane on a mobile application as well as a web portal and generates personalized statistics according to each site and company.
What is the IoT Lifting Platform?
Thanks to the SIM card in the DCS 61-S systems, information is continuously collected through various sensors placed on the cranes. It is thus possible to store, send and receive this information on the web portal.
Customers can connect securely to their personal web space in order to:
- Have access to the mapping of all of its sites equipped with DCS 61-S and thus manage their fleet of AMCS technologies products.
- Remotely view the DCS 61-S screens placed in the cabins of the crane operators as well as the SUP 61 supervisors
- Analyse, download and share information.
- Carry out remote diagnostics
- Make customizable statistics
By allowing customers a real evaluation of productivity according to the concentration of machines but also an automated management of their fleet of systems.
All the systems are mapped, the user thus has the possibility of knowing precise information concerning them (on which sites his systems are installed, the address of the latter, on which cranes as well as their numbers, the version of the software, the serial numbers of the equipment, which elements of the anti-collision kit are installed, how many cranes are in interference, how many prohibited areas are present, etc.).
The IoT Lifting mobile application completes this solution.
Available on Android and IOS, this ensures precise, remote and real-time monitoring of crane and DCS 61-S data (wind speed, whether the crane is weathervaning, orientation angle, etc.).
Alerts in the form of notifications are also sent.
Finally, thanks to advanced access rights, it is possible to neutralize the anti-collision and prohibited zone functions within a limited radius around the site after the operator of the machine concerned has acquitted himself.
