Final details of Crane Safety 2003

Delegates to Crane Safety 2003 will be treated to a site visit to one of the biggest construction projects in Europe

Construction of Heathrow Aisport's new fifth terminal building is in progress. With planned costs not far short of $5bn, Heathrow Terminal Five is one of the biggest construction projects in Europe.

Select Tower Cranes has about 20 large tower cranes on site, all of them flat top Comedils, in the capacity range 350tm to 630tm. Besides these are a host of crawlers and other mobile cranes slogging away.

A visit to the Terminal Five site and a briefing on the crane aspects of the project from Select Tower Cranes is part of the package for delegates to Crane Safety 2003, an event that brings together leading industry practitioners to discuss best practices in safety management in the sectors of mobile cranes and tower cranes.
