In line with efforts to establish a distinct ‘Terex family’ aesthetic across its product lines Terex crawler cranes produced in Zweibrucken will now be fitted with a newly-designed cab.

As with the cab of first Terex crane to sport this aesthetic, the Challenger 3160, the new crawler cab was conceptualised by Porsche Design, and so features a similar engineering layout. It also sports twice the internal space of the old crawler cabins.

Terex is gradually implementing the new cab across all crawler lines manufactured at its Zweibrucken facility.

Although crawlers featuring the new cabs will be available across Europe shortly, the manufacturer says it will take some time to make them available for customers in the US and China.
