Valla Cranes worked with the Hird Group to create the customised crane which is based on the Valla 180E. The unit has been adapted to have a new fully hydraulic telescoping boom that provides an overall boom height of 13mt and a hydraulic fly jib that offers a tip height of 16mt. The hydraulic fly jib also has a 40° sweep. The main boom offers negative extension up to 10mt radius and capable of lifting 1,500kg.
Liftout Limited based in Romford, London work as a specialist lifting company for removal and installation of escalators and heavy machinery. The 25EL was purchased to fulfil contracts for London Airports that Liftout Limited have won.
Valla Cranes said that it believes DC electric and diesel powered cranes are becoming more and more the preferred choice for many installation companies.
