Cranes Today is pleased to announce its debut ‘columnist’ resident is UK lifting industry legend Katie Kelleher. Her first column will be in the July issue.
Katie has had quite a journey in the construction industry: from crane operator and appointed person to technical publications manager, podcast host, speaker and professional industry opinion-haver; and we’re delighted to now have her on board.
As our first-ever resident Katie will be writing a monthly column exploring areas of the industry that she thinks need discussing, including people, careers, skills, health, retention, culture, leadership and, of course, cranes.
“The field is hers,” says Cranes Today editor Christian Shelton. “She can write about whatever is on her mind.”
“I’ve never been particularly good at staying quiet when I think something needs saying,” says Katie, “so giving me a regular column may prove to be a risky decision on their part!”
