Everwilling Group in Australia has expanded its fleet with the addition of a Liebherr LTM 1400-6.1 – a 450 tonne capacity mobile crane.

The family-owned business added the six-axle crane to its fleet as part of efforts to meet increasing demand for heavy-lifting solutions in the region’s infrastructure and industrial sectors.

The company cited the crane’s lifting capacity, compact design, and modern technology as key factors in its selection.

Everwilling Group general manager Steve Allen said: “A few years ago, we identified the need to replace our LTM 1300-6.1 with a crane that is equally compact on site and on the road, while offering significantly higher lifting capacity.

“The increasing demand for heavy-lift solutions in major infrastructure and industrial projects in New South Wales further reinforced our decision in favour of the Liebherr LTM 1400-6.1.”

The new crane will serve a range of roles in construction projects, including installing steel and precast concrete elements, data centre construction, and high-capacity maintenance operations.

Allen added: “With the LTM 1400-6.1, we are significantly expanding our capabilities and can support customers even in complex and technically demanding projects. It will be the largest crane in our fleet and will play a key role in our company’s future growth.”

Everwilling Group’s previous experience with Liebherr mobile cranes was influential in its purchase decision.

The company’s LTM 1300 6.1, delivered in 2009, has accumulated more than 25,000 operating hours.

According to the company, this crane has maintained high availability and reliability under challenging conditions.

Once phased out, the LTM 1300-6.1 will be traded with Liebherr, refurbished, and reintroduced to the market.

The longstanding relationship between Everwilling Group and Liebherr was also a factor in the acquisition.

Founded in 1982 by Gordon Henderson, Everwilling Group operates a fleet of 25 cranes, including 14 Liebherr cranes, and employs around 90 people in its construction sector activities.
