Manitowoc’s largest ever crane, the 31000 has completed its highest capacity lift yet, using its novel variable position counterweight (VPC) for the first time on a commercial project. The 2,300t capacity crawler crane performed a pick-and-carry lift of a 650t cold box at the Posco E&C liquefied natural gas plant in Gwangyang, South Korea.
